Introduction to Exhibiting
(Six Lessons)
Course Begins:

Oct. 24, 2016 (6 weeks, will meet Mondays 8-9 p.m. EST)
Enroll now through Oct. 17, 2016, as space permits - class limited to 10

$100 APS members; $130 non-members

Online access to course materials and resources; plus 4 additional weeks of instructor interaction following conclusion of course.
Course Description:

Steve Zwillinger author and awarding winning exhibitor, will lead both collectors new to exhibiting and new exhibitors on a step-by-step journey through the basics of exhibiting. Topics to be addressed include: the main components of a philatelic exhibit; preparing an effective title page; techniques for arranging, displaying and describing philatelic material; and methods for telling a coherent and engaging story. Participants should expect to spend several hours per week working on their exhibits.

Course Description:

New to the hobby? Have you ever asked yourself such questions as, “Where should I keep my stamps? How do I remove a stamp from an envelope? How is a commemorative stamp different from a definitive stamp? Is a stamp identifier the same as a stamp catalog?” Find the answers to these questions and more during this 4-week introduction to stamp collecting led by Janet Houser, APS Youth and Education Program Coordinator.
