Please take a moment to answer a few questions to help us process your stamps correctly at the two year time limit . Stamp extensions and returns will be done on a monthly basis and with over 450 sellers it takes a lot of time determining how to process each one – sending letters and waiting for over 450 responses each month could also take up a lot of time and expense. We would therefore like to keep on file your wishes for your material.

1.

TWO YEAR EXPIRATION - If I have any material unsold after two years:

       Extend all my two-year items to the third year at a charge of 15¢ per item extended (the charges will be billed to my seller account).

       Return my items after the two year expiration  (return costs will be billed to my seller account).

       Donate my items after the two year expiration to the APS StampStore. We will provide a written acknowledgement that may be used for tax purposes.

 
2. THREE YEAR EXPIRATION - After the Third Year extension do one of the following:

       Return all items that have not sold after the maximum of three years (return costs will be billed to my seller account).

       Donate my items that have not sold after three years to the APS StampStore. We will provide a written acknowledgement that may be used for tax purposes.

If any item is found to be misdescribed:
**Note we are now going to email sellers to try to attempt to relist items without returning  – in some cases the APS is able to make minor changes to the listing and repost when pricing is not affected; but in other cases it may require the seller to determine if they need to majorly alter the description/price; and of course some returns are just necessary.

       If a Return is necessary for a misdescribed item(s), please RETURN to me.

      Donate misdescribed items to APS StampStore. We will provide a written acknowledgement that may be used for tax purposes.
           (If you want to set certain price criteria on items to return/donate – just let us know in the comment field below).

 
4.

Have you completed the “In Case of Death” form? 
It is very important that the APS be advised how to handle your material and who to contact in the event of your death.  We cannot stress enough the importance of this document.  We currently have sellers that have passed away and nothing on file how to process their material – all mail is being returned and no family contacting us – this leads to a lot of confusion and eventually an automatic donation to APS.  Please take a moment to complete the Death Authorization form and mail/fax/or email it in.
