There are many ways to support youth participating in the Young Philatelic Leaders Fellowship.
- Sponsor a Fellow
Societies, organizations, or individuals can sponsor a Fellow at a cost of $5,000. Sponsorships support the travel, lodging and programming costs for one YPLF Fellow for a full program year. The sponsor’s name will precede the word Fellow in all introductions of that young person throughout his/her involvement in the Fellowship. Sponsor a Fellow.
- Be a Mentor!
Mentors serve as a guide for their assigned fellows, with the purpose of helping them to achieve their YPLF goals and required assignments. Become a Mentor
- Donate Directly to the YPLF
Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated. Donations can be made online or through the mail. Individuals, clubs and societies alike have a vested interest in seeing the hobby grow. Select YPLF on the Online Donation Form.
- Selling through eBay Giving Works
Sell items on eBay and have a portion (10–100%) of the proceeds benefit the YPLF. See more details.
- Bid on eBay items designated to support the Fellowship!

- Donate Materials
Fellows who choose the Exhibitor Track or the Dealer Track will need items to exhibit or sell. Exhibitors will need cardstock, mounts, page protectors, and Dealers will need philatelic material to sell at shows along with display supplies. Donated materials can be sent to: APS Education Department, Attn: YPLF Donation, 100 Match Factory Place, Bellefonte, PA, 16823. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
- Get the Word Out
Pass along information about YPLF to young collectors and their families using the YPLF brochure and application form. Your encouragement may be the catalyst for them to apply.
