With members in more than 110 countries, the American Philatelic Society is the largest, non-profit organization for stamp collectors in the United States. Founded in 1886, the APS serves collectors, educators, postal historians and the general public, both nationally and worldwide, with a wide variety of programs and services. Director of Education

The Education Director is a collaborative, hands-on leader who drives the organization’s education strategy and leads the development of philatelic educational content. In collaboration and consultation with other APS directors and the Education Task Force, this role sets direction for how education supports member value and growth, including the production of philatelic education content across all experience levels and the administration of education programs. This role will additionally support the Marketing Department in developing and maintaining edutainment content and entry-level tools to engage potential new members of all ages and experience levels. A part-time Education Assistant supports the Education Director.
