Renee Gardner — Director of Internet Sales

Hired in March 1984 in Circuit Sales as a clerk/typist, promoted to secretary to the Director of Sales, then promoted to administrative assistant in Circuit Sales, then transferred to Shows & Exhibitions under the direction of Ken Martin for a little over two years as his assistant — and finally appointed as Director of Internet Sales by Robert Lamb in June 2000 prior to the opening of StampStore in September 2000.

I supervise the operations directly connected with all aspects of the APS StampStore, but often go hands-on to help out my staff of three — Kelley, Megan, and Stephanie — whom I depend upon greatly to handle the increasing workload, as more and more members have begun to use our guaranteed services for buying and selling philatelic material.

I have been married to my husband Chuck for twenty-four years and we have two sons, Ryan (U.S. Navy – Nuclear Machinist Mate) and Zane (Sophomore at Penn State University majoring in business/minor Restaurant & Hotel Management). I am a big dog lover, especially German Shorthaired Pointers of which I have two and treat as though they were my third and fourth children. I am an avid Eagles and Phillies Fan…Go Phils!!
