Forged or Genuine: Hanover (Michel 9)

One of these stamps is a genuine Hanover stamp and the other is a forgery. Can you tell the difference?

  1. Genuine: In the genuine, the ribbons containing the “1” have a point that points upward towards the “EIN” and “FRANCO”.
  2. Forgery: In this variety of forgery, there is a much lighter print and the ribbons containing the “1” are rounded without points.
