Forged or Genuine: Mecklenburg Schwerin (Scott 5)

One of these stamps is a genuine stamp and the other is a forgery. Can you tell the difference?

  1. In the genuine, the arm of the “1” in the upper left corner, touches the frame line and the bases of “MAR” touch.
  2. The forgery doesn’t have an arm and doesn’t touch the frame line.”MAR” don’t always touch at the bottom.
