Discover China's postal history with Exploring Stamps - and win mint China stamps

Check out our Exploring Stamps Giveaway on Facebook and Instagram

To celebrate the APS partnership with Exploring Stamps on Youtube, we're offering our followers and readers a chance to win a beautiful souvenir booklet of mint China stamps.

Did you see the latest Exploring Stamps video? "China Postage Stamps," published Sept. 6, 2019, is an in-depth exploration of China's fascinating postal history, as illustrated by stamps, covers, cancels, and more. If you watched the video and enjoyed it, you're eligible to enter our giveaway on Facebook and Instagram.

Three random winners will receive a souvenir booklet of mint stamps celebrating the Kunqu Opera, which is one of the oldest operas in existence and a vital part of China's literary and artistic history. Kunqu Opera originated in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, over 600 years ago, and is considered the ancestor and teacher of all operas. In 2001, UNESCO named China's Kunqu Opera a masterpiece on their list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The souvenir booklet is called "Graceful Kunqu Opera" and includes the following: A sheet of four People's Republic of China Scott 3780 stamps with accompanying labels; and a sheet of People's Republic of China Scott 3828-3830. This souvenir book is perfect for swappers, new collectors, crafters and experienced philatelists alike!

To qualify for the giveaway

The contest will close on Wednesday, September 18th, at 11:59 pm EST. We will notify the three winners via private message by Friday 09/20. U.S. residents only are eligible to win.
