Can you still earn the $50 Summer Seminar "Influencer" Reward?

Yes, we are still offering these $50 "influencer" rewards - $50 credit for anyone who directly influences a new registration for Summer Seminar 2023. One, or both parties (influencer, and "influencee") simply needs to send an email directly to [email protected] with both names, with subject line "SS2023 Registration Reward", along with the completed registration. Both parties must attend Summer Seminar for the reward(s) to apply. Influencers can earn more than one reward. Each $50 reward will be added to the respective APS Member account in June, for internal use at the APC during Summer Seminar, or anytime thereafter.

Room Availability at the Best Western is also becoming limited, so books your rooms soon!

As in past Summer Seminars, the APS has reserved a block of nicely discounted rooms at the Best Western Plus University Park Inn and Suites, a few miles down the road from Bellefonte, and a few more miles to neighboring State College / Penn State University.

Room rates are as follows: Double Queen - $85 (+tax & svc fees); King Suites w single sofabed - $105. 

Reservations can now be made by calling (814) 234-8393, and asking for the APS Summer Seminar block.

Other Information:

"Is SCOPEX 2023 happening the weekend prior to Summer Seminar?"  Indeed it is! SCOPEX, the annual weekend philatelic event held by the Mount Nittany Philatelic Society is scheduled this year for Saturday, June 10th and Sunday, June 11th, 2023.

"Are the Friday wrap-up sessions planned again for this year's Summer Seminar?"  Yes. Similar format to previous years, with APS Directors and staff members doing briefings and presentations on various APS departments and projects Friday morning.
