APS Stamp Chats began 2 years ago as a quick response to the COVID-19 restrictions, allowing experts and stamp enthusiasts alike to share their expertise and build connections among members and friends around the world, safely and from the comfort of their homes. Since March of 2020, we have produced over 115 Stamp Chats that have showcased the breadth of philately, featuring the different accomplishments presenters have made and shared with the community.
The hobby continues to strengthen and evolve with the connections and knowledge shared over APS Stamp Chats. The Chatty awards symbolize the creativity of the stamp collecting community and the ability to grow through a difficult situation. Stamp Chats demonstrates this time and time again and that is why we are celebrating their impact in the hobby.
We thank our APS members and friends for your support of APS Stamp Chats. And to the many presenters who have taken the time to craft and execute Stamp Chats, thank you! Your contribution to the hobby and to the APS are immeasurable.
The Chatty award categories that will be represented in 2021 are: Stamps Teach, Creative Philately, Cultural Philately, Destination Philately and Philatelic Storytelling. Check out the nominees for 2021 and the winners of 2020 here. Voting for the 2021 Chatty’s will begin Monday, February 14th, 2022, in the meantime we invite you to watch APS Stamp Chats and start the countdown till voting opens for each Chatty category!
