Judge, Jury, and the Great American Stamp Show
The 2020 Great American Stamp Show in Hartford, Connecticut, will host the largest exhibit competition of the U.S. As the host of three of the biggest World Series of Philately competitions in the year's cycle, Great American Stamp Show welcomes the best and brightest exhibitors to bring their exhibits to compete - and hopefully win - a wide variety of honors at a variety of levels, from Champion of Champions (the highest national level exhibiting honor available), to Youth Exhibiting awards, to the literature competition.
Mark Banchik (California) will chair the exhibit jury for the StampShow, AmeriCover and the National Topical Stamp Show world series competitions at the 2020 Great American Stamp Show. Joining Banchik on the international jury will be Ed Kroft (Canada), David Ball (Massachusetts), Russell Boylan (Australia), Rob Henak (Wisconsin), Yamil Kouri (Massachusetts), Steve McGill (Colorado), Ray Pietruszka (Alabama), Jane Sodero (Canada), Ken Trettin (Iowa), Joel Weiner (Canada) and Chuck Wooster (Florida).
The literature jury will be chaired by Alan Warren (Pennsylvania). Peter Martin (Virginia) and Roger Quinby (Georgia) will be the other literature jurors. As in past years, an “FIP Option” will be offered for exhibitors who want their exhibits judged as if being shown at an international show. The “FIP Option” is in addition to regular judging (World Series of Philately standards) and will be conducted by James Gough (California) and Chris Harman (Great Britain).
The Great American Stamp Show will also include three Champion of Champion competitions: the 54th Annual competition among the multiframe grand award winners of the US and Canadian national shows, plus the newer Most Popular and Youth Champion of Champions competitions.

World Series of Philately
An APS World Series of Philately show is a U.S. national level show that has gone through an accreditation process and must follow standards (WSP Rules/Requirements) to maintain their status. These shows include a bourse (dealers with tables buying and selling), competitive exhibits, meetings and seminars and usually host functions of one or more philatelic societies.
