The APS News Team recently received exciting news: a new virtual stamp club is on the way! Learning About Stamps Online (or LASO for short) plans to provide an online forum for stamp collectors of all ages, skill levels, and philatelic interests — all that's required is internet connection and a passion to learn. LASO members will share knowledge and resources to better appreciate, enjoy, and promote the hobby of stamp collecting. 

Joining LASO

Membership in LASO does not require dues or fees. If you are interested in joining the club, click here to fill out the sign-up form. 

LASO will meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. The club plans to begin monthly meetings no later than July, with a possible trial run in June.

LASO's focus is on learning. The club will promote presentations and discussions devoted to supporting stamp collectors of varying levels to improve their skills and knowledge related to stamp collecting. LASO will not sponsor or promote activities related to buying and selling stamps. For a more detailed view of club bylaws, click here.

If you or someone you know is interested in serving on LASO's initial Operating Team, please email antonejaboud@gmail.com to volunteer. At the moment, LASO would like to find up to three additional members. The team currently consists of:
