Separate ceremonies will take place August 10 and August 11 at the Great American Stamp Show (GASS) in Cleveland, OH. The ceremonies are sponsored by Linn’s Stamp News and will be held on the main stage on the show floor.
The stamps are still in development and images will be later released on the GASS website https://stamps.org/GASS/first-days.
Thanks to the organizing efforts of a prolific collector of Mörck’s works, Armagan Ozdinc, and sponsorship of travel expenses by Linn’s Stamp News, Mörck is planning to attend GASS. Ozdinc also is organizing the two first-day ceremonies and facilitating Posta Faroe Islands to attend and staff a booth at the show.
Throughout the show, collectors will have an opportunity to meet this master engraver and designer at the Linn’s booth and also at the Posta Faroe Islands booth. Mörck will be available to sign the two No. 1,000 stamps along with all the other stamps he has designed and/or engraved over the years.
So, mark your calendars now to attend GASS and witness the history. Visit www.stamps.org/GASS for more information about the show.
