It's just six months until the 2025 Great American Stamp Show in Schaumburg on August 14-17 — so make your plans now!
GASS is the nation’s biggest philatelic event, hosted by the three largest philatelic organizations in the United States – the American Philatelic Society, the American Topical Association, and the American First Day Cover Society. The show is sponsored by the United States Postal Service, who will host a large retail area as well as multiple first day ceremonies. GASS will feature 75+ dealers selling stamps, covers, and other philatelic material; hundreds of frames of stamp exhibits including featured exhibits sponsored by the Royal Philatelic Society of London and the U.S. Philatelic Classics Society; participation of 40+ national specialty societies; a youth area; and meetings and seminars.
Admission to GASS 2025 is FREE, but registration is required. Pre-registration for the show is now open; get ahead of the crowd and get registered today!
GASS 2025 will take place at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center & Hotel (1551 North Thoreau Dr., Schaumburg, IL 60173). Located just 30 miles outside Chicago and about 11 miles west of O’Hare International Airport, Schaumburg is the premier suburban business destination in Illinois. It’s known for the massive Woodfield Mall, with hundreds of shops and restaurants. Other nearby attractions include Topgolf Schaumburg, Legoland, IKEA, Dave and Buster's, and Olympic Park (check out this link for more things to do in Schaumburg). The Center and hotel are connected and offer free parking. You can find information about room rates and how to reserve your room here. Be sure to book soon — rooms will go fast!
