The first chapter of The Art of Stamps: Messengers of History and the Character of Nations, by George Theotocatos, which discusses the first Olympics through stamps, is now available to read. This chapter and other stories about the cultural history of stamps, as well as philately as an art form, hobby and investment commodity are presented in the book, which will be available on stamps.org/Publications this fall.
