June is the month for APS members to make their annual pilgrimage to the American Philatelic Center for Summer Seminar on Philately. Many have longed to attend, while others have relegated attending this yearly event to a “someday” promise to themselves.

Long and dream no more! Travel, time, and cost are no longer obstacles for attending the 42^nd Annual Summer Seminar on Philately. This year’s event, 2021 Summer Seminar Online, will be held virtually and you can attend in real time or access session recordings on-demand, at your convenience.

Summer Seminar Online will be held June 7 - 25, 2021, and will feature numerous educational, social, and fun elements. There will be eight 3-session courses offered exclusively for APS members. Register for one or all eight!

• Introduction to U.S. Postal History
• The British Machins – Their Origins, Technical Aspects & Varieties
• U.S. Stamp Design, Engraving and Printing: 1894-1950
• Precancels
• Series of 1917 Documentary Stamps and their Overprints
• Introduction to Competitive Philatelic Exhibiting
• Washington/Franklins

Each course registration will include three 75-minute live, virtual sessions; handouts; access to session recordings; and exclusive entrance into a “Talk30” gathering to converse and network with the course instructor and fellow attendees.

APS members registered for at least one course will receive access to: special networking opportunities; an auction; an e-swag bag filled with special coupons, discounts, e-books, and other surprises; and philatelic exhibits.

The end of each week will feature “Free Friday” seminars, open to both members and non-members.
