Royal Mail today announced new versions of definitive value stamps bearing the image of King Charles are now available. Often called ’make-up’ values, they are typically used to ‘make up’ remaining postage fees.The new values have retained the colour schemes used when the stamps featured the image of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.The set of seven new low value stamps are:

Stamps are available from today at www.royalmail.com/hmkingcharles
First Class, Second Class and Large Definitive stamps bearing the image of His Majesty King Charles were first issued on April 4, 2023. These are being seen more often on letters as stocks of stamps issued during the reign of the late Queen have been used. Special Stamps have carried the silhouette of His Majesty since the release of the Flowers stamps on March 23, 2023.
Non-barcoded definitive stamps were no longer valid for use after July 31, 2023. Customers who have been unable to use their non-barcoded stamps can be exchange them for the new barcoded versions through Royal Mail’s ‘Swap Out’ scheme. The "Swap Out" scheme opened on March 31, 2022. Customers can send unused stamps via a Freepost address. Forms are available via a variety of channels, including local Customer Service Points, the Royal Mail website, Royal Mail Customer Experience team and Post Office counters.
