CAPEX 2022 Palmares Tickets Available
Are you planning to attend CAPEX 22? We’re just weeks away from the start of one of the largest single-frame international exhibitions ever held. CAPEX 22 will be held June 9-12, 2022 in downtown’s Metro Toronto Convention Centre with 400 single-frame exhibits and more than 100 literature entries. The APS is a proud partner sponsor of the event and Scott Tiffney, Director of Information Services and Librarian will be hosting a booth. At our booth, you will also be able to visit with organizers of Boston 2026 World Expo to hear more about the exciting plans for the next international hosted in the United States.
For those planning to attend, we invite you to attend the Palmares Reception and Dinner on Saturday, June 11, 2022 to honor with the winners of the competitive exhibits, with four Grand Prix awards presented throughout the evening. You’ll be able to celebrate with old friends and make new ones. Tickets are on sale for $168 Canadian and includes a meal, one bar ticket, and two bottles of complimentary wine served at each table. Recommended dress is business attire.
Vice-Regal Patronage Granted
Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, C.C., C.M.M., C.O.M., O.Q., C.D., Governor General of Canada, has extended her patronage to CAPEX 22, the first International One Frame Stamp Championship Exhibition. Her Excellency is also the patron of the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada (RPSC), Canada’s national philatelic society, the host of CAPEX 22. Since 1947, each successive Canadian governor general has been the patron of the RPSC.

About CAPEX 22
CAPEX 22 is the first international stamp exhibition to be held in Canada since 1996, and there have only been six others previous, beginning in 1951. CAPEX 22 International One Frame Stamp Championship Exhibition is being held June 9-12, 2022 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) in the heart or Toronto’s downtown entertainment district and, with 400 exhibit frames, CAPEX 22 will also be the largest showing of one frame exhibits at any exhibition, ever. The exhibition will also have over 100 philatelic literature exhibits both in traditional print format and with four categories of digital literature including philatelic websites. The exhibition’s bourse area will consist of more than 75 Canadian and International dealers, providing a full range of philatelic material for exhibition attendees. CAPEX 22 is also being held under the patronage of the Federaçion Interamericana de Filatelia (FIAF) and the recognition of Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP). About the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada (RPSC)
The RPSC, founded in 1887, is Canada’s national organization for stamp collectors. It provides the leadership role for the promotion and encouragement of stamp collecting for Canadians of all ages, genders and ethnicity, and is an inclusive organization. The RPSC offers educational programs to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the collecting community, and represents Canadian collectors in worldwide philatelic exhibitions and to worldwide philatelic organizations. It publishes The Canadian Philatelist, its scholarly and informative journal, six times a year. Royal patronage was granted in 1947, and has continued ever since.
