If you'd like to follow along in real time, here is a list of supplies you will need for the Valentine's craft:
I small bottle of red ( or the colour of your choice) dollar store acrylic paint. MUST BE acrlylic and not tempera.
1 brush
1 nice round potato. (not a baking potato, a regular one)
envelopes
stuffer cards for envelopes
1 yellow highlighter
1 fine tipped black marker
coloured pencils
small stickers (optional)
In this lesson you will:
#1. create cacheted envelopes
#2. be inspired through a look heart shaped stamps and postmarks from around the world
#3. learn about the post office in LOVE, Saskatchewan.
#4. when the envelopes have dried, you'll learn how to send your creations for Valentine Day postmarks.
Collectors of all ages will enjoy this hands-on philatelic craft.
