David Hunt, President of the Reading Stamp Collectors Club, shares with the Philatelic Society of Lancaster County members and guests the United States postage stamps for the 300th, 350th and 400th anniversaries of the Pilgrim Landing in the new World. He also shows the 3 stamps Great Britain issued for the Mayflower and Pilgrims, and some additional postal history (very) loosely connected to the Pilgrims
Dave is a member of The Society of Mayflower Descendants in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, has been an officer of said organization, as a descendant of Gov. William Bradford (and probably a few others such as John and Priscilla Alden).
Enjoy this journey of the Pilgrims Landing in the New World via postage stamps presented by the Philatelic Society of Lancaster County.
