The 41st APS Summer Seminar on Philately will be held on June 21-25 at the American Philatelic Center in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. Summer Seminar is a once-a-year opportunity to expand your philatelic knowledge and meet others who share your passion and interests. All courses are led by philatelic experts who are accomplished writers, exhibitors, experts, dealers, and specialized collectors.

Two scholarships, the Norris “Bob” Dyer Scholarship, sponsored by the British North American Philatelic Society, and the Wayne Youngblood Scholarship will be awarded to young stamp collectors between the ages of 16 and 24 who are residents of the United States or Canada. Applicants must be 16 years of age, but not older than 24 years of as of June 1, 2020 to apply. Immediate family members of APS/APRL Board members or staff and current participants of the Young Philatelic Leaders Fellowship are not eligible. Young collectors who are not 18 years of age prior to June 1, 2020 must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone.
Each $1000 scholarship will help to defray the costs for a young collector between the ages of 16 and 24 to attend the 41st Annual Summer Seminar on Philately, scheduled for June 21 – 25, 2020 at the American Philatelic Center in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania.
Each application will be reviewed by a selection committee and awarded on the basis of merit.
Application Deadline is April 1, 2020.
The number of scholarships awarded will be dependent on the amount of money donated. A drawing will be held on April 1, 2020 to select the winners of this year's scholarships from the applications submitted.
