After two years of temporarily closing, reopening, then closing again and finally reopening, how has the Postal Museum adapted to the new hybrid environment? What does that mean for our visitors, our programs and our exhibitions? And what is being planned to re-imagine the Postal Museum’s Atrium level galleries and public spaces which are approaching 30 years?
Presenter: Elliot Gruber, Director of the Smithsonian National Postal Museum
Meeting Date/Time: Friday, June 10 from 1 - 2 p.m. EDT
Postal history can open a window into the past and allow us to deepen our understanding of the social environment of an era. Participate in the examination of an envelope and learn about the lives of those who sent it and those who received it.
Presenter: Dr. Charles Posner
Meeting Date/Time: Friday, June 10 from 3 - 4 p.m. EDT
We hope to (virtually) see you there!
