The Great American Stamp Show is scheduled for August 12-15, 2021 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, in Rosemont, Illinois. The free event is co-sponsored by the United States Postal Service. The USPS will also have a large retail presence offering a selection of current U.S. stamps for sale.
The show will feature three first-day ceremonies of stamps designed by Mike Ryan with original artwork by Mick Wiggins, and Martin Mörck, Norwegian-Swedish artist who designed and/or engraved more than 900 stamps that have appeared on more than 1,100 stamps issued by 27 different postal administrations around the world.
The United Nations Postal Administration will host a first day of issue for Mother Teresa, a $1.80 stamp. It is one of the three first day ceremonies happeining during the show. The stamp is also designed by Martin Mörck, who will be available for autographs during the show. The ceremony will also be held on the 12th at 3p.m. on the main stage.
