The American First Day Cover Society will announce the winners of its "Cachetmakers Contest" for the best FDC designs in 18 categories. The event will begin at 1:30 pm.
Two youth related sessions from the APS Education Department are back to back, starting at 2:30 pm.
"APS Youth Stamp Social and Share" will engage those just getting started with their stamp collections.
Then at 3 pm, "Young Philatelic Leaders Fellowship Panel." Are you curious about the YPLF program and all that it has to offer? Look no further than attending this panel with our host Cathy Brachbill, Director of Education at APS. She will be welcoming three fellows who graduated YPLF to ask about their experiences.
Other highlights of Day 3:
11 am: "Lu Tianjiao: The First Female Stamp Designer of the People's Republic of China," presented by Richard Morel of the British Library's Philatelic Collection.
1:30 pm: "Collect your State," presented by Dawn Hamman, the President of the American Topical Association.
5:30 pm: As part of the Collectors Club Virtual Program Series, Keith Harmer presents "Fakes and Forgeries of the U.S., B.N.A. and Cape of Good Hope" promises an intimate look at about 20, primarily covers, from “the dark side of philately.” (registration required)
