The Austin Texas Stamp Club was founded in 1938. Since then, many with interest in philately, from novices to more experienced collectors of all ages have gathered to learn about our hobby, trade stamps and to participate in many of the activities the club has to offer (see our Bylaws). Today the club has about 85 members.
The club welcomes anyone interested in stamp collecting!
Dues are $15.00 per year for adults, $8.00 for 18-year-olds and younger.

The Austin-Texas Stamp Club meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month. All meetings have a short business segment followed by a planned activity.
On the first Tuesday, we meet at the Lakewood Homeowners Association Clubhouse, 7317 Lakewood Drive, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – This meeting of the month is generally a presentation by either a Club member or other interesting person telling the rest of us about a particular aspect of stamp collecting that interests them. We have a projector and screen for the more visual presentations. We also occasionally have "Show and Tell" sessions where members can share new acquisitions to their collections. Club-owned copies of Scott catalogs for the last two years are available for members to peruse and check out. Boxes of stamps are available for members to buy US and foreign stamps cheaply, and a selection of APS circuit books are available.
On the third Tuesday, we meet at the South Austin Senior Activity Center, 3911 Manchaca Road, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm - From January to November, this meeting is an auction of member-submitted lots. The Auction is generally 50 to 90 lots consisting of a great variety of stamps, albums, covers, etc. Prices range from a minimum of $1.00 to several hundreds of dollars; normally 60 to 70% of the lots sell. We setup the auction at 7:00, bidders view the lots, and after the short business meeting at 7:30, the bidding begins. For the December meeting, we have a Holiday Party with stamp-related games and good food. The Scott catalogs, boxes of stamps and APS circuit books are also available.
See our Program Calendar for meeting details.
