Bronze Medal - local shows

Criteria: For WSP shows (excepting the GPS National Meeting), a small gold medal, a small silver medal, and a small bronze medal are offered, for the best three exhibits, in order. These medals are not based on the show’s medal level. Judges are not required to give all medals. A minimum of three German area exhibits are required. For non-WSP (local) shows, a single small bronze medal is available for the best German area exhibit. All awards require application of the show chair or show awards chair.

For Germany Philatelic Society National Meetings the following awards are given out for German Area exhibits: Grand and Reserve Grand and Best One Frame exhibits (minimum of three German area exhibits), large GPS medals corresponding to the medal level at the convening show, and the Hermann Halle Research Award. The small medals are not awarded at the National Meeting. See Awards for more information and past winners.

GPS Special Prize - available to APS-certified exhibitions or shows. The award may be given to any exhibit, topic or category and is not limited to Germany-area exhibits. Award consists of a year's subscription to the Society's gold-award winning publication and one of its award-winning books.
