The American Philatelic Society recognizes fifty years of continuous membership by presenting a distinctive fifty-year medallion. It is cast in high relief, bears a presentation ribbon, and depicts the official Society seal.
Twenty-five years of continuous membership are recognized with a twenty-five year member certificate. These awards are presented to members at the Winter Meeting and at STAMPSHOW, the Society's annual convention. The APS established its programs to recognize membership longevity in 1975.
Since membership numbers are not re-assigned, a member's longevity can be determined by the year the membership number was assigned. View the APS Member Longevity Report.
