Delivery Disruptions for The American Philatelist

Ongoing supply chain issues and staffing shortages with our printing company have resulted in longer production times for The American Philatelist. Traditionally, production of the journal takes seven to ten days, but delays have pushed completion to three weeks. As a result, APS members can expect to receive The American Philatelist after the 15th of the month for the foreseeable future.“The paper and staff shortages are industry-wide, so you may notice delays with other publications,” said Scott English, APS Executive Director. “Our editorial staff is working with contributors, advertisers, and our printer to minimize the impact of these delays.”

Members can access the digital version of The American Philatelist on the APS website. We will provide a notice in the weekly newsletter notifying members when the latest edition has been posted.“We know APS members value the journal, and we’re working hard to get the delivery back on schedule,” added English. “Thank you for your patience.”
