Today, APS Executive Director Scott English announced new leadership for two divisions within the American Philatelic Society, to take effect immediately.

Masorti named Director of Membership

Wendy Masorti has become Director of Membership, managing Membership Administration, Complaints, and Shows for the APS.

Masorti joined the APS in 1989, beginning with Member Administration and holding various positions.

In 2014, Masorti was named Director of the Internet Sales Unit and became Director of the APS Sales Unit in 2016 when Internet Sales merged with Circuit Sales.

Hoffman named Director of APS Sales

Carol Hoffman has become Director of the APS Sales Unit, overseeing management of the Internet Sales Unit, better known as StampStore, and Circuit Sales.

Hoffman joined the APS in 1979, starting in the Circuit Sales Unit.

She became Sales Manager of the APS Sales Unit in 2016, working with Wendy Masorti to manage the operations for the past four years.

Content and Marketing new structure

The changes were made as Tom Loebig has launched his own media consulting firm and will be leaving APS at the end of 2020. Loebig served as Chief Content Officer and Director of Membership since arriving at APS in June 2019.

“Thanks to Tom for all he’s done for the APS membership since joining the team and we wish him the very best with his new venture,” said English, “Thank you to Carol and Wendy for offering their leadership to the APS. Both of them have been with the APS for a long time and will hit the ground running. We’re fortunate to have great experience ready to lead.”

As part of the reorganization, Heidi Rhoades (Grassroots and Community) will join Erin Seamans (Development Assistant), and Ross Jones (Project Manager) as part of the Content Team, reporting to the Executive Director. The APS will begin the search for a Digital Content Specialist to manage the web content and work to further expand the APS/APRL digital reach and services in 2021.
