The 2024 Postal History Symposium, celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Universal Postal Union, will be held at the American Philatelic Center in Bellefonte, PA on November 15 & 16. In addition to a schedule of speakers, exhibits, and a bourse, the American Philatelic Society will also host two social events for attendees.
On Thursday, November 14, there will be a cocktail reception with cocktails by Big Spring Spirits and hors d'oeuvres by Farmstead Fusion, sponsored by the Collectors Club of Chicago. The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the American Philatelic Center.
On Friday, November 15, the American Philatelic Society will host a dinner at Brass 16823 with cocktails by Big Spring Spirts and dinner by Farmstead Fusion, with the option of butternut risotto stuffed chicken breast, herb-roasted sirloin, or spinach, butternut, and ricotta stuffed shells. A cocktail reception will begin at 6 p.m., and seating for dinner will begin at 6:30. Benjamin Combes of the Universal Postal Union will be the keynote speaker. Tickets can be purchased here; the deadline to purchase tickets for the dinner is November 6.
