You may have seen that the USPS is soon to release the Carnival Nights stamps – we certainly did, and were inspired by the images of carnival rides and colorful lights to kick off our June membership campaign with a celebration of the quintessential American carnival! This month, the APS is reminding stamp enthusiasts across the globe that we are your “ticket” to stamp collecting. Whether you’re a researcher, an exhibitor, a dealer, or a casual collector – or if you’re just someone who wants to support the hobby and see it grow – the APS can help you get the most out of the hobby.
What’s a carnival without prizes? In June, when you join as a new member, you’ll receive a packet of stamps absolutely free! Keep them for your own collection or pass them along to a new collector to share the fun of philately.
And don’t forget – June is your last month to secure APS membership for the lowest price of the year! U.S. membership is currently $25.50 through the end of 2024 (and just $20.50 for digital membership!), so if you’ve been thinking about giving membership a try, sign up before the prorated price goes up to $59.25 (membership through the end of 2025) for U.S. members in July!
