Rely on the American Philatelic Expertizing Service (APEX) for guaranteed opinions on the genuineness of stamps and covers. APS members receive a discount on this valuable service.
This online service offers basic identification of stamps from scans that you submit online. The service offers an opinion on the catalog number of the stamp and advises if you need to consider a formal APEX certificate.
