It's National Stamp Collecting Month, the perfect time to launch our new APS Stamp Chat series, “Stamp Chat: Stamp Stories”. This series invites collectors from around the hobby to share their philatelic origin stories.

Our first "Stamp Stories" premiered earlier this month. Our guests included APS Director of Expertizing, Ken Martin, stamp artist Terry Amman, postal historian Daniel Kurz, philatelic influencer Casey Jo White, cachet maker and YPLF grad Dani Leviss, the Rookie Philatelist, Citizen Jennifer, and YPLF grads Michael Cortese & Charles Epting from "Conversations with Philatelists."

For our second episode of Stamp Stories, guests included: Laura Glazer of Portland Correspondence Co-op, Warachal Faison of ESPER, Kurt Streepy of First Issues Collectors Club, Dr. Michele Bresso, Ted Tyszka of "Ted Talks Stamps", Jack Topping of JET Philatelics, Darsh Gupta and Rakib ul Hasan. 

Every collector started somewhere and this series is geared to highlight the many entry points into the hobby and the many paths philately can take. Invite a friend and share the gift of the hobby of Kings and Queens. 

It is our hope that these APS Stamp Chats and these "Stamp Stories" in particular contribute to the fundamental properties of our hobby: collecting, connecting, learning, and inspiring.
