Cheryl R. Ganz

Cheryl R. Ganz PhD RDP, Smithsonian Curator of Philately Emerita, is a vice president of the American Philatelic Society and serves on the USPS Citizen’s Stamp Advisory Committee. While writing her dissertation, she worked as a research assistant at the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum in Chicago. Her desk was located in an office that previously had been Addams’ bedroom. Ganz curated an exhibition that resulted in her co-editing and contributing to the book Pots of Promise: Mexicans and Pottery at Hull-House, 1920–40.
