What better way to celebrate National Stamp Collecting Month than to share our hobby and help it grow?  As of August 31, we have welcomed 1,078 new members for the year.  With the 2022 Membership Matters Campaign, our team set a goal to beat last year’s recruitment of 1,756 members.  While that goal may seem out of reach, we are not giving up – but we need your help. 

Do you have a friend, family member or colleague that you know has an interest in the hobby?  Invite them to join with our October special – new members joining in October (U.S. residents only) will receive a FREE Encyclopedia of United States Stamps book (a $40 value).  Canada and foreign residents can join and take $10 off the membership rate. Each year we honor those who have reached 25 and 50 years of membership with the APS.  The honorees are invited to attend the annual show to be presented their award.  In 2022, 587 members who joined in 1997 received a “25 Year Certificate” and 383 members who joined in 1972 received a “50 Year Medallion.”     

The 2023 recipients will receive invitation letters in April to join us in Cleveland for a special presentation.
