Virtual Stamp Show Exhibitor Information
The Virtual Stamp Show is scheduled for August 17-22, 2020, sponsored by the American Philatelic Society, the American Topical Association, and the American First Day Cover Society.
Registration for this six-day event is free and open to everyone!
Whether you are an experienced or first-time exhibitor, the Virtual Stamp Show is open to your presentations in our one of a kind, online showcase. Your exhibit can cover any area of philately that stokes your passion for stamp collecting!
All Virtual Stamp Show exhibits include the opportunity for attendees to share their feedback. First time exhibitors may receive tips from veteran philatelists. Experienced exhibitors can try new, unique approaches.
Entries will be separated into two categories:
- Traditional: those who have previously shown at a national or WSP show (or higher level).
Limit: Up to 160 pages or 10 exhibit frames.
- Innovative: New exhibitors.
Limit: Up to 16 pages or 1 exhibit frame.
For each category, Virtual Stamp Show attendees can vote for their favorite exhibits, with awards to the top finishers:
- Favorite Exhibit
- Most Educational
- Exhibit I’d Most like to Own
- Most Unusual
If you would like to be a Virtual Stamp Show Exhibitor, please send exhibits in the following format:
- Minimum Requirement: Pages should be scanned at 300dpi .JPEG files.
- Scans can also be sent in .TIFF or .PNG for improved magnification.
- Each page may have a caption (not required).
- Image filenames should be saved in the following format: ExhibitName-Image#
Please send all images, exhibit title, and captions together in one email , or email us an online link to a file transfer service, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer.
By sending your exhibit, you certify that you own all the material displayed and give APS permission to post your exhibit on stamps.org.
The deadline to participate as a virtual exhibitor is Wednesday, August 12, 2020.
