Make plans now to attend AmeriStamp Expo February 15-17 in Mesa, Arizona. One of the largest stamp, postal history and postcard shows in the country, AmeriStamp Expo offers something for the whole family. Whether you are an experienced collector, or just looking for a fun family activity, AmeriStamp Expo is three unique days of shopping, seminars and entertaining activities that also educate.
The three-day show will be held at the Mesa Convention Center at 263 N. Center St. in Mesa, Arizona. The show will include 50 dealers offering a remarkable array of stamps, postal history and collecting accessories for every interest and budget.
Also on-hand will be local and national societies and clubs, chapters and affiliates, and the APS Education Department. The show will be host to an estimated 50 presentations, seminars and meetings to keep attendees cheerfully occupied during the 22 hours of AmeriStamp Expo/ARIPEX.
RSVP for the U.S. Postal Service first day of issue ceremony for the new Cactus Flowers forever stamps here taking place on Friday during the show. This ceremony usually draws a very large crowd and is an opportunity to participate in the making of postal history. The U.S. Postal Service will also be at the show selling the new stamps and other current postal items.
A special youth area known as Discovery Cove will provide hands-on activities for beginners ages 6 to 12. All children who visit Discovery Cove and complete a stamp passport activity will receive a free packet of stamps, an activity booklet and information about the Young Stamp Collectors of America (YSCA).
In addition, 240 frames of exhibit will showcase the annual nationwide Champion of Champions competition, the Most Popular Exhibit competition and an Open Competition. The exhibits are a popular part of the show and include both detailed research and fun topical displays.
