Want to give back to the APS but aren't sure how? Why not join us this July 15-19 for the 13th annual APS Volunteer Work Week? Whether you come for a day or the whole week, we're excited to welcome you to Bellefonte and the American Philatelic Center.
Volunteers will spend the week working alongside APS staff to prepare mailings, fill circuit books, sort donated materials, and so much more. The week is a great chance to not only give back to the hobby, but also to meet fellow volunteers from far and wide, visit the American Philatelic Research Library and the APS Stamp and Cover shop, and experience the thriving State College and Bellefonte areas.
The American Philatelic Research Library and Circuit Sales will maintain their normal operating hours during Voluntunteer Work Week, there will be a "Treasure Station" for those hoping to make interesting finds in a large pile of stamps, and a mid-week “thank-you” luncheon will take place on Wednesday, July 17 to share stories and compare notes on the accomplishments and finds of the week.
