Stamps and Coins General Manager Maxine Cannon said: ‘Isle of Man Post Office is honoured to issue this special postal tribute to mark the historic occasion of His Majesty King Charles III accession to the throne with HM Queen Consort Camilla by his side. We believe these to be the first stamps to feature HM Queen Consort Camilla which have been approved by the King.
‘In bringing this collection together we are thrilled to be working with Robert Jobson, whose latest book, Our King - Charles III: The Man and The Monarch Revealed, is due for release ahead of the Coronation.’
Award-winning Journalist and New York Times and Sunday Times bestselling author Robert Jobson said: ‘The Accession postal tribute from the Isle of Man Post Office is a very fitting range of images which encompass perfectly the personality of HM King Charles and HM Queen Consort Camilla in both their formal and more casual aspects of public life and service. This collection is the perfect memento to mark this historic occasion.’
His Excellency Lieutenant General Sir John Lorimer KCB DSO MBE said, ‘It is a most fitting tribute that Isle of Man Post Office has produced this wonderful set of stamps to commemorate the accession to the throne of His Majesty King Charles III, Lord of Mann.
