Join APS member, historian and author, Leon Reed for a fascinating presentation on Civil War covers. In this talk, Reed examines the broader cultural messages found on these covers; what were the attitudes of the populations, what sort of ideas did they hold for North or South? Using covers from this era, Reed seeks to decode what life was like for Americans during the Civil War.
