Tuesday, November 30, marks Giving Tuesday, an international day of giving. Join us to support a fascinating program sponsored by the American Philatelic Society: the C3a Campaign.
C3a includes:
Giving Tuesday is a unique one-day opportunity to support the C3a community as we connect philatelists to courses and to each other. This year, your donation of $25 or more will be matched by two anonymous donors, to double the impact.
Plant a seed by donating to expand C3a. Watch the impact of your donation combined with the donations of others all day on Giving Tuesday. Throughout the day, check our social media to see how much has been raised! It all goes to support continuing education and connections for collectors like you.
C3a is the place to learn about all aspects of philately, either on-the-go or from the convenience of your own home. Since its launch in 2018, the C3a learning platform has grown to include over one-thousand learning elements, many of which are produced from volunteer content. Our community of collectors can never be too big. If you have ever thought about teaching a class on your favorite philatelic subject, now is the time to answer the call.
At the APS, we cherish each collector's unique journey and strive to connect our members to the best learning experiences. The APS Education Department has big plans for C3a in 2022. Become part of the experience and add your unique knowledge to C3a. All philatelic topics are welcome; including beginner, intermediate, advanced, or specialty. If you have a presentation or exhibit that you would like to share with others, consider volunteering to be a C3a presenter. Your presentation will be recorded and placed on the C3a learning platform as a video for other collectors to treasure.
C3a’s most successful courses have come from volunteer presenters like you. The Education Department worked with Richard Colberg, a Certified Appraiser through the Appraisers Association of America, to help collectors answer the question, “How much is my collection worth?”. The project created an 18-minute video, an example inventory, and an American Philatelist article, all to help collectors value their collection.
Every collector has unique knowledge to share with the hobby. If you would like to donate your time as a presenter on C3a fill out the form here.
