Forged or Genuine: India (Scott 1854)

One of these stamps is a genuine stamp and the other is a forgery. Can you tell the difference?

  1. The genuine stamp is more defined , with the portrait showing a jaw line with shading dots on the neck and collar.
  2. The forgery is much cruder, with no jaw line and lacking the shading dots. The collar shading merges together.
